Hope you enjoyed the pictures.

Author’s Note: This post was in the making for the past three months, and it is a collage of photos that were painstakingly taken over that period of time. Extreme care was taken to ensure that the pictures which made the final cut were of the utmost quality – in colour, tone, intention and symbolism. All of the pictures you see here have multiple layers of meaning for me at many, many levels. I would only be to happy to share what they signify to me at some point in the future. But for now I will just say that they are a gross bleeding together of influences from my memories of Malaysia, time spent in Canada, and the pains of growing up.

No picture post would be complete without some form of dedication. Therefore, I would like to take some time to dedicate this tome to my much beloved and missed family – we all need a little light of love at times, and this is mine to you all for the times. I can’t believe how much I miss every single one of you; I can’t wait for next summer. This comes with a promise to keep on fighting here in Ottawa, no matter the cost.

This one also goes out to Atif Slim; it’s been a full two months since he was last mentioned here – for reasons oblique – and I think it’s fitting that his return comes with some aplomb. Dude, I sent you a photo last night – one which I thought was very symbolic – that I hoped you would notice the meaning of. The parallel is here – in the very first picture.

Why else would I have asked you to name this post? ;)
