Finally there was an artist around this weekend.

Ironically enough though, it was I this time around who was barely available for much of the day – having to run up and down in the chill of downtown Ottawa, in order to map the flanks of the Rideau Canal.

It wasn’t the best of conversations in the world – in fact it was pretty bad as far as I was concerned – as we (myself in particular) were both uber-exhausted and to that end practically incapable of injecting any life whatsoever into the topics that popped up for the night. More than once I was reduced to banging my keyboard in utter exhaustion and wishing that I could think of more interesting things to say.

But I suppose that at the end of it all I am still very thankful that there’s someone willing to listen and put up with my being silly and completely random at the worst possible moments.

Even if my ego gets destroyed every bloody time.

Taken off my bro Farisman’s blog:

Sometimes there is no need to say those three words, because we already show it in everything that we do.

That made me think for a bit, and then I realized how incredibly true that statement could be. Hopefully I’ll get the opportunity to say more on this later, but for now I have to say that I probably couldn’t agree more with that brother of mine.

And for him in turn I say this:

Be strong be strong, now.

Look at what I found in my inbox this morning (XD):

Dear Irving,

Hi I’m Julia from the Marketing Department at Taylor’s University College. I was informed by Jim Leonard about your mail and we were wondering if we would be able to use your testimonial for the website. It would be posted under the ICPU testimonial section. If you are keen it would be great if you could forward a picture of yourself that we could also include.

Well I hope to hear from you soon with good news.

Thank you and look forward to your mail.

Warm regards,

Julia

XD?

LOL, kinda cool…but I’m not too sure if the “picture of yourself” bit was a good marketing decision on Taylor’s University College’s part…Prae will readily attest to that ahahahah XP

I even have photographic evidence:

Orang baru bangun (Just woken up).

Muka macam tu memang ada gaya nak bujang selama-lamanyalah. Adeh XD

And NO I did not actually send THAT picture LOL!!!

I screwed it.

Wake-up call >.<

I don’t feel good about the Mineralogy exam that I’m going to have to sit for in the next seven hours.

I feel exhausted, uninspired, and like I’ve been flying blind all the way.

Uphill battle tomorrow, that’s for sure.

I’m just saying.

Obviously there are many reasons for that sentiment so eloquently expressed above, but the fantastic cuisine is definitely near the very top of the list. The rather explicit title of this post is a solid and lasting testament to that fact.

Might I also add here that in all honesty, I have actually lost count of the times that I had had epileptic fits/was knocked unconscious/threw myself through my apartment window in sheer agony – all due to my being shown the images of unadulterated South-East-Asian culinary delights immortalized above.

=.=”

Sigh.

Great to have you around again =)

With tonight’s win, the Ottawa Senators currently lie 11th in the Eastern Conference with 74 points – 7 points behind the Montreal Canadiens who sit 8th and occupy the final playoff spot. Can we do it?

I certainly hope so. The team winning nine of their last ten games certainly gives me hope.

Cheers folks! =)
