I admit I have to say that it looks like amongst the triumvirate of remastered early U2 albums, War appears to have received the short end of the stick…where Boy and October had material from early EPs or the benefit of increased b-sides – or even more live performances at the very least – War appears to mainly consist of superfluous remixes and dub versions. Regardless though, I’m more than interested in this deluxe edition, and hopefully before I fly back to North American I’ll manage to procure a copy from KL :)

In the meantime, I have thoroughly sampled The Joshua Tree, and found it to be an excellent piece of work – well worth it’s place in the pantheon of U2’s best albums. A review on that one later, hopefully…when I get a speedier internet connection that is i.e when I get back to Canada this August.

That’s all for now; just wanted to put down a few quick words :)

PS – A random shoutout to Alex Amar. I miss you LOL.

XD?

This one’s for the furballism and the paper she (it? XD?) is facing today: all the very best, and kill ‘em all.

We’re cheering for you :)

AKU JUMPA!!!!!!!!!!!

A remastered, double disc and bookletted baby – star quality in a box, in other words. This ain’t the 26th best album of all time for nothing lol =)

And guess where I found it?!?!!

KLCC’s Rock Corner babeh!! WOOHOO!! Score one for Rock Corner! And there I was thinking that it’s nary impossible to find stuff like this in negaraku – then up steps Rock Corner and proves me wrong =) I could even go further and salute most of the record stores in KL in fact – most of them have a ridiculously expansive musical pallette, ones which tend to be infinitely better than the sad SAD cases I’m accustomed to here in Malacca lol. Even better, some have shown themselves capable of carrying albums which aren’t available even in HMV’s in Ottawa?

Like, bravo!!! I saw the Deluxe Edition of the War remaster FOUR TIMES this last weekend when I was up in KL lol. And I didn’t even go to Mid-Valley (a place which has never failed me in my musical quests lol)!! Like bloody hell, I still can’t believe it man – four fricking times….I might just make another trip up north just to pick that album up lol.

But now, off I go to share my discoveries with Prae! =D + ;)

I’m sick of debating – the whole affair.

Curtain call, curtain call.
